Folks I took the liberty of monitoring my injector duty cycle on drive home last night, results wereidle 0MPH no gear 1.4% duty cycle smog1 15mph 2nd gear 2.4% duty cycle smog2 25mph 3rd gear 2.8% duty cycle cruise 70mph 5th gear 6.9% duty cycle you need fuel for acceleration not cruising!! So IMHO the smog tests (15,25) are very close to idle in terms of injector operating point. idle is of course open loop (O2) and smog is closed loop (15,25) but the control issue is the same My 94 Z32 uses 8 bit PWM for injectors so bit accuracy is about 0.4% increments.
